Close to Paperchasing

19 07 2010

I have been meaning to post for quite some time, but it seems the days are long without John at home.  He is in Indonesia for 2 weeks, but should be home before too much longer.  The girls and I can hardly wait to see him again, though we are having fun just “being girls”!

There have been a few delays in processing our initial paperwork with America World, but we got word today that we should be assigned a Family Coordinator this week.  This is the person that will help facilitate our “paper chase” – the phase of the process that can be a bit overwhelming!  (so I’ve been told)  It will be great to have someone to help us with this step as we gather our whole life story to submit to the Ethiopian government.  This step can take several months to complete, but once finished, will allow to receive a referral for our son.

I just wanted to keep you posted on the current status of our family.  We covet your prayers and encouragement along this journey, as often times it is very emotionally draining, but in the end, will be worth it!!
